Lux Bru is a nice place that had more space than I expected. I met my friend there for brunch and we had a wonderful time. To think I passed by this place for at least a year, and I actually thought it was something else…like a lounge for guys. However, one day last week I heard some coworkers talk about it and set up a brunch outing.
First things first, when you go in for the first time go over to the register area to place your order then go grab your table with the number you are provided from the register.
I had the shrimp and grits and when I tell you they were the most flavorful shrimp and grits I ever had…OMG! I would go back just for that dish. My friend had the croissant with bacon it looked good as well. They also have seasonal drinks if you are adventurous and desire to try a unique cup of coffee. I jumped into the deep end with a cup of Midnight Bloom (Blackberry, Lavender, and White Chocolate cup of coffee) which was different but good. The gentlemen who took our order stated if we had to have a traditional drink like a caramel macchiato, he could make one of those as well. I could tell everything was made to order. They had a consistent flow of people coming in while I was there. The vibe of café was diverse, welcoming, and inclusive. There were three different sitting areas on the first floor and another sitting area upstairs. I really like the look and feel of Lux Bru! The icing on the cake was everyone was so nice, and the café was so clean. In case you have not figured it out by now, I am definitely going back and next time I plan to take someone from my family with me. Great job Lux Bru Staff!!!!
