🥩 Texas Land & Cattle – Austin, TX Food Review

By Summer Jenee’ | Travel & Food Blog | SummerJenee.com

When you’re in Austin, TX, the dining options are endless and while Texas Land & Cattle (5510 S. I35 Suite C) has a varied menu, my recent visit left me feeling like there are better choices nearby.

I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes, seasonal veggies, and garlic bread. Others at the table had the Smoked Sirloin with a baked potato and garden salad, paired with a strawberry lemonade, and the Texas Pick 3 appetizer plate spinach dip, Texas wings with garlic parmesan, and TX potato skins plus a Sprite.

The food was fine, and service was decent, but nothing stood out enough to make me want to return. In a city like Austin, where there’s no shortage of flavorful, standout meals, Texas Land & Cattle wouldn’t be my first pick next time.

Pro Tip: If you do go, the Texas Pick 3 gives you a good sample of their appetizer options.
