Let me be honest — after a so-so visit to the LongHorn in Huntsville, I wasn’t exactly running to try another location. But my daughter was craving LongHorn after loving it in Dallas, so off we went to the one in Decatur. I’m so glad we did — it totally changed my mind.
This time, I played it safe with shrimp, a salad, a baked potato, and corn on the cob. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We started with a spinach and pita chip appetizer that was surprisingly light and tasty.
The real win? The steaks. Everyone in our group ordered different cuts — from ribeyes with broccoli and salads to steaks with mac and cheese or sweet potatoes. Each one was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. Our server was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed — a big plus.
I walked in with low expectations and left thinking, Okay Decatur, you did that! I’d absolutely return here without hesitation.
